To touch all human life from the physical to the spiritual.
Wholistic ministries/services that connects humanity to its true nature in Christ Jesus. We are better than good. We are created to exceed greatness.
The beginning of Jesus Is My Trainer was the realization of how much physical appearance was the goal for change towards healthier living. It led to making life choices for a better way of living. Initially, exercising was the commitment. The New Year couldn't wait and it had to start now. Justyn (CEO) woke up with prayer, devotion, and grabbed his sneakers, shorts, and t-shirt (Not in that order). He headed up to the track and field and began his new planned lifestyle change.
It was until 4 weeks in. Commitment, pushing through soreness, tiredness, mentally not feeling like it, and many times over wanting to take a break. Knowing if he paused, he would lose momentum. It was that fourth week that he began to jog around the track. He believes to push from walking the track to jogging the track. He set his eyes on the marker. Set the goal of 4 laps and then a cool down walk.
He started off good. He felt good. 1 lap complete, 2 laps complete, consistency, 3 laps complete. He is coming into the fourth lap. His legs are like rubber bands, his heart is racing, and his eyes have sweat dropping in them. He could see the goal not too far off. The mark where he will complete the last and final fourth lap. His mental fortitude begins to make excuses and to compromise his commitment that “it is okay if you don't reach the goal”.
Isn't it like that in life? That we make excuses or thoughts of unworthiness begin to change your focus. Yet, Justyn was thinking just that. “I could stop, it's okay”, but the goal is right there. The goal is in reach. I don't have to wait for tomorrow for what I can do today.
He PUSHED onward. No one was at the track. No one was cheering for him. No one was there to be a witness. It was just him and his thoughts. Justyn kept going, despite the creeping feeling of defeat growing. He kept going. Needless to say this is the victory moment. He made it to the mark and collapsed. Catching his breath. Hoping his heart won't burst out of his chest. He made it!
It was that moment that he recalled another voice. Saying you can make it. It wasn’t yelling. It was like a whisper. “Don't slow down. Keep pushing. Yes you can”. After walking around the track one more time. He came to the conclusion that what if people would commit to knowing God just as much as their commitment to making money, earning degrees, exercising, building relationships, and practicing their craft. What if they committed through the tough moments, the mental breakdowns. The failed relationships to continue to keep God first. Oh, how the perspective of life can change for all.
On that day. Justyn no longer became his own motivation or his own trainer. Jesus became his trainer. It was there in 2014 that Jesus Is My Trainer was born. Jesus is my trainer is beyond the physical attributes but touches the heart of all people.
